Driving (A Poem)

Driving on the highway
Driving too fast
Too many pressures
Faster and Faster

Traffic stops dead
There’s a squeal
Of brakes
The car becomes airborne

Then it’s over
All the pain
All the suffering

Yes the pain
Is gone but
Now it’s transferred
To the Ones
Left behind

How will they deal
With their loss?
Their Pain?
Will they do the same?

Will they loose it all
On the highway
Driving....
